The survey question was phrased as follows: "Apart from ARD and ZDF, and different private television channels, there are also pay TV channels, e.g. Sky or Kabel Deutschland, that one can subscribe to separately. Do you have a subscription for Sky, Kabel Deutschland or another pay TV channel, or not?" (original German question: "Neben ARD und ZDF und den verschiedenen Privatsendern gibt es auch Pay-TV-Anbieter wie z.B. Sky oder Kabel Deutschland, die man extra abonnieren muss. Haben Sie Sky, Kabel Deutschland oder einen anderen solchen Anbieter abonniert, oder ist das nicht der Fall?")
