The source adds the following information: "ComRes interviewed 2,055 GB adults online between 14th and 16th June 2013. ComRes also interviewed over the telephone 510 British adults with a combined annual household income of £20,000 and below between 17th June and 8th July."

This statistic shows the distribution of parental financial support given to adult children in the form of large or small, regular or once-off loans in Great Britain (United Kingdom) as of 2013. At that time, approximately 80 percent of British adult respondents had never received a large regular loan from their parents, nor given one to their adult children. At the same time, approximately 73 percent of British adults reported that they have received from their parents (or have given to an adult child) small once-off loans (as "cash in hand").
