Cobalt consumption in the U.S. by end use 2013-2021
In 2021, 3,220 metric tons of cobalt was consumed for superalloys in the United States, which made it the country's largest end use of cobalt. In total, the U.S. consumption of cobalt amounted to 7,270 metric tons in 2021, which was the lowest during the period of consideration.
