In March 2025, the average number of daily trades on the LSE amounted to almost **, in line with the figures of the previous months and the previous year. This, however, represents a decrease compared to the levels registered before 2023.

The average number of daily trades made on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) massively jumped in March 2020. In December 2021, the value had fallen again to **. In the first months of 2022, the average daily number of trades exceeded * again, before decreasing once more in the following months.
