The results of the survey indicated that, in comparison with 2016, internet users seem to be increasingly using the internet to access social networks (with more than ** percent of Central American respondents indicating in doing so). Although a high percentage of users in this region claimed to use the internet to check their email, this activity's popularity dropped in 2017. Respondents in the Dominican Republic were also included in this survey.
