This graph compares the air freight handling of ten leading airports in the UK between 2007 and 2020. Heathrow Airport handled more air freight than all of other airports included here combined, and was singularly the most important hub for air freight in the UK. In 2020, Heathrow handled nearly *** million metric tons of freight. The second biggest freight handler was East Midlands International Airport, with approximately ** metric tons of freight handled.
