An October 2020 to January 2021 survey of UK adults aged 16 years and older found that 11 percent of respondents had ever played games on a gaming console. This represents a five percentage point growth compared to the previous survey period. Handheld gaming was most popular among 16 to 24 year olds with a 25 percent usage reach among that particular group.
