In 2019, London recorded the highest share of individuals who reported visiting a public library in England. Nearly 38 percent of respondents from that area claimed to have visited a public library at least once in the year previous to the survey. On the other hand, about 25.6 percent of interviewees from Yorkshire and The Humber stated the same as of 2019.
