In 2010, the feature phone shipments in Asia and the Pacific amounted to 53 percent of the global shipments. This number was expected to increase to around 67 percent by 2017. In 2015, China was the leader in global smartphone shipments, accounting for almost 30 percent of the market. China is predicted to maintain this position into the year 2020.
