The Travel & Tourism Development Index (TTDI) is an evolution of the Travel and Tourism Competitiveness Index (TTCI). It measures factors and policies that contribute to the development of the travel and tourism sector, which in turn contributes to the development of a country.
The index covers 119 countries and is made up of five sub-indexes: Enabling Environment, Travel and Tourism Policy and Enabling Conditions, Infrastructure and Services, Travel and Tourism Resources, and Travel and Tourism Sustainability. The index scores range from one to seven, with one being the worst rating and seven the best rating.
