Certain measures are more anticipated by the French to develop more sustainable mobility. Among the three most desired measures by respondents to this 2021 survey in France, two measures would promote the use of electric vehicles. More than half of those surveyed would also like their municipality to replace the fleet of gasoline buses with electric buses. Overall, respondents preferred financial aid or measures encouraging changes in habits rather than restrictive measures such as the implementation of a low-emission zone allowed only for low-emission vehicles.
