Considering the uncertainty surrounding the potential total level of cocaine production and the possibility of comparing estimates between countries, the figures have been estimated as ranges (842 to 1,111 tonnes in 2009, 788 to 1,060 tonnes in 2010, 776 to 1,051 tonnes in 2011, 714 to 973 tonnes in 2012, and 662 to 902 tonnes in 2013).
This statistic presents the volume of cocaine production in Colombia from 2008 to 2022. In 2022, Colombia produced approximately metric tons of cocaine with a purity level of 100 percent. This represents almost half of the global pure cocaine production in the world. Although cocaine is mostly produced in Latin America, its consumption is worldwide, and France seized more than ** metric tons of cocaine in 2022.
