The socio-fiscal measures implemented by Emmanuel Macron's government between 2017 and the end of 2021 had unequal impacts on the standard of living of the French, depending on their income. Among the most disadvantaged social categories, that is, the first * percentiles, in other words the poorest * percent, the effects were generally negative. Individuals in the 2nd percentile saw their standard of living decrease by **** percent per year during Emmanuel Macron's first five-year term. In contrast, the category that benefited the most from the socio-fiscal measures were the richest * percent, or the 100th percentile, with an increase of **** percent in their standard of living per year.
