This statistic shows the proportion of French people affected by anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, or sleep problems between March 2020 and December 2022. In March 2020, when the Covid crisis had just begun, levels of anxiety and depression were particularly high. While the proportion of French people suffering from depression decreased after Covid, levels of anxiety and suicidal thoughts remained high, and sleep problems even increased.
