The Spanish Agency for Medicines and Health Products (AEMPS) participated in actions against the illegal sale of medicines through the Internet at the international level. These actions are also carried out in coordination with the State Security Forces and Corps as well as with other health authorities both national and international.
This statistic shows the number of illegal medicines withdrawn by the Spanish Agency of Medicines and Medical Devices (AEMPS) in Spain from 2010 to 2023. In 2023, only one medicine was withdrawn, representing a decrease compared to the previous year.
