This statistic shows the extent of the oat cultivation area worldwide from the 2016/2017 growing season to the 2024/2025 season. After the decline experienced in the 2017/2018 and 2018/2019 seasons, growth began, bringing the global cultivated area of this type of cereal to around *** million hectares in the 2021/2022 season. However, in the 2022/2023 season, the cultivated area decreased again, and after an increase of about million in 2023/2024, forecasts indicate a slight decrease during 2024/2025.
