Nearly half of international corporate volunteers carried out their assignments in 2019 in a country that is a member of the European Union. The Americas-Caribbean region hosted the second largest group of volunteers that same year, with nearly a quarter of those involved.
International corporate volunteering (VIE) was established in the early to promote the integration of 18-28 year olds into an international company. The duration of assignments ranges from 6 to 24 months.
