In the 2019 housing demand survey in Egypt, conducted by the World Bank in collaboration with CAPMAS, the primary reason homeowners chose their residential area was proximity to relatives, cited by almost ** percent of respondents. Similarly, about ** percent of renters cited the same reason as their primary factor for choosing their residential area.
