Global data center capacity demand is projected to grow by three and a half times between 2025 and 2030, driven by the rapid rise of AI workloads. AI-related capacity is expected to increase by 124 gigawatts over five years. In 2030, AI workloads alone are projected to require 156 gigawatts, more than quadrupling from 2025 levels.
