According to a survey conducted in South Korea in 2023, around ** percent of respondents with intellectual disorders or autism who reported their academic status as middle or high school stated that they attended school at that level. This was the highest attendance rate, with the lowest being among those with mental disorders, of whom none attended. Most either dropped out or never progressed to middle or high school in the first place.
