鈥淭he condition of visual fragility is determined by the coexistence and mutual influence of economic difficulties and problems related to visual health, with the latter condition worsening precisely because of challenges in meeting the costs of eye care services, glasses, or contact lenses.
A subgroup of the visually fragile are those defined as visually poor, composed of people who, in addition to the typical features of the visually fragile, have monthly incomes insufficient to cover their monthly expenses, including those related to the health of their eyesight.鈥
