The 5G Connectivity Index evaluates multiple aspects of 5G deployment, such as spectrum availability, network performance, affordability, adoption, and market development. It assesses the performance of 39 markets based on key indicators for 5G infrastructure and services.Â
Scores on the index range from 0 to 100 across various indicators, with higher scores reflecting better performance in delivering 5G connectivity.

In the third quarter of 2025, China recorded a score of points in the 5G Connectivity Index, making it the top performer in the Asia-Pacific region. Indonesia ranked at the other end of the scale, with a score below ** points. The 5G Connectivity Index is based on indicators across two categories:Â 5G infrastructure and 5G services.
