Between 2019 and 2024, the share of battery electric vehicles (BEV) among the cars newly added to the fleet of the members of the British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association (BVRLA) in the United Kingdom has increased significantly. While in the last quarter of 2019 they only made up ***percent of cars added to the fleet, by the last quarter of 2024Â ** percent of new cars in the fleet of BVRLA members were BEVs. The share of plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) has also increased during that period.
