In a survey conducted in the Australia and New Zealand region in 2024 regarding food safety, around ** percent of respondents indicated they trusted farmers and producers to do their part in ensuring that all food sold in shops and supermarkets across the country is safe to consume. In comparison, around ** percent of those surveyed expressed a high level of trust in manufacturers and processors to do the same, and about ** percent of respondents had faith in retailers in terms of food safety assurance.
