As of 2023, most of the CEE's population agreed that governments should support and subsidize the reeducation of workers employed in sectors affected by the fossil fuel phase-out. However, nearly ** percent of surveyed Czechs were against the phase out of fossil fuels, fearing poverty and loss of jobs.
