In 2024, ** percent of chemical industry executives surveyed indicated a likelihood of considering mergers or acquisitions, marking a decline from ** percent in the previous year and a notable drop from 100 percent in 2022. Additionally, the percentage of respondents who felt 'very likely' to pursue such actions has decreased steadily, from 79 Â percent in 2022 to ** percent in 2024.
