In the first half of 2026, there were more building construction firms than specialty trade contractors and heavy and civil engineering construction businesses using artificial intelligence (AI) in the United States. Around ** percent of those building construction companies had used AI in the past two weeks. Over 17 percent of those businesses expected to use AI over the next six months.
