In general, NHS staff were more supportive of virtual wards than the British public, with ** percent of NHS staff either 'very' or 'quite supportive', as opposed to only *** of the general public. A significant share of the general public were undecided regarding their support of the virtual wards, which is probably due to a lack of information distributed. A virtual ward would allow patients to be treated and receive care at home rather than at hospital.
