In 2023, the Ministry of Public Works and Housing built flats and distinctive houses in Indonesia. Distinctive houses (Rumah Khusus/Rusus) are houses that are built to meet special needs, such as housing in certain border areas or outermost islands, housing for teaching staff, medical personnel on duties, or other social purposes. The Ministry of Public Works and Housing is responsible for coordinating the development of public infrastructure and public housing in Indonesia.
