Haiti's working population below poverty line 2000-2025
From 2000 to 2018, the percentage of Haitian workers below the international poverty line showed a downward trend, falling from approximately 31 percent to 25 percent. By 2025, this rate had increased to 43.1 percent, due to the change in the extreme poverty line from 2.15 to 3 U.S. dollars per person and per day.Â
