French digital regulator Autorité de régulation de la communication audiovisuelle et numérique (ARCOM) has proposed to block pornographic websites that do not control accurately the age of their visitors without the need for a court intermediary. As of ****, seven in ** French adults reported to be very favorable to the ARCOM strengthening its position in order to prohibit minors from accessing pornographic websites. In comparison, less than one in ** respondents reported being quite against or very against the ARCOM pushing a law to block websites who don't enforce age restrictions for pornographic content.
