The number of visits to events organized by music venues in the Netherlands grew sharply in 2023 over the previous year, recovering from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. While attendance at events organized by members of the Association of Dutch Music Venues and Festivals (VNPF) declined to under * in 2021, it bounced back in 2022, then reached **** million in 2023, exceeding pre-pandemic levels.
