In a recent study led among Canadian moviegoers in 2022, more than half of respondents claim that the movie is the deciding factor when going to the cinema. Less than 14 percent of moviegoers who go to the theaters more than five times a year reported that the overall theater experience drove them to go see a movie on the big screen.
