In Norway during the period 2016 to 2020, ** percent of women and **** percent of men lived at least five years after the diagnosis of melanoma. This represents an increase in survival rates compared to between 1971 and 1975 when around ** percent of women and ** percent of men would live for five years following a diagnosis of melanoma.
