The joint project Dot.sys by the Federal Centre for Health Education and the federal states provides extensive information about the measures implemented in addiction prevention in Germany within the framework of a calendar year. Dot.sys provides a significant contribution to prevention reporting and improves the quality and transparency of the addiction prevention practice. Dot.sys involves specialist and information centres, administrative bodies, clubs, specialist outpatient clinics and State Coordination Offices in all states in Germany continuously documenting their activities. The documentation is on a voluntary basis so no claim can be made to fully documented addiction prevention measures.
