Cantonese remains the most desired language in automatic speech recognition (ASR) programs in 2022 and most respondents would like to see it added in the coming three years. A number of indian languages are desired, with Bahasa and Tamil being among them, though only around percent of respondants wished for those languages. It is an interesting note that african languages have around the same desired inclusion as Icelandic, a somewhat strange number as Africa counts nearly billion people and Icelandic has around *** thousand speakers worldwide.
