Released in November 2022, the generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) chatbot has rapidly become a disruptive presence. In the same survey, AI and robotics were also chosen by respondents as the most promising industry for the near future.

ChatGPT is a hot topic

The rapid rise of ChatGPT has sparked a widespread interest in AI worldwide, and South Korea has been no exception. More than a third of domestic survey respondents answered to have tried ChatGPT at least once. When asked about the functional use cases of the chatbot, the majority stated to use it for looking up information, while others also claimed to use it to gain inspiration.

A growing interest in AI around the world

AI has drawn attention due to its potential for increasing productivity to the next level. As such, the global AI market is projected to continue growing and exceed *** trillion U.S. dollars in market size in the years to come. For industries such as advertising and marketing, companies are already utilizing generative AI to promote products and services as it supplements or even takes over various creative processes.
