In Portugal, the proportion of fixed internet connections among residents in 2024 was the highest in the region of PenÃnsula de Setúbal, at a share of 89.6 percent. The Azores followed, with a share of 89.2 percent.
Mobile internet connections presented lower proportions than fixed internet connections. Greater Lisbon had the highest share, with 55.8 percent, followed by Madeira, with 53.8 percent.
