Despite a drop in 2018, the percentage of people of color on full-time staff at nonprofit organizations in the U.S. has been steadily increasing since 2017. However, 2024 saw a drop, with approximately 38.2 percent of full-time staff at U.S. nonprofits identified themselves as people of color in 2023 and 29.3 in 2024.
