In 2022, Mathura, a city in Uttar Pradesh in India, saw more than million tourists visits. Mathura is one of the sacred cities in the north of the country, believed to be the birth place of Lord Krishna. Apart from the Krishna Janma Bhoomi - the temple of the alleged birth site, the Vishram Ghat is also close by, leading to the Yamuna river.
