Ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, adults in Great Britain largely had a negative view of Qatar, with 67 percent having an unfavorable view overall. Following the tournament, this had increased to 72 percent, while the share of respondents with a favorable view had also slightly increased, from nine percent to 12 percent.
