A September 2023 study focused on the impact of price rises on holiday plans in the United States. As of that month, roughly a third of U.S. respondents with the lowest annual household income (under ** thousand U.S. dollars) mentioned planning to drive instead of flying to reach the travel destination due to the impact of inflation. By contrast, just ** percent of surveyed travelers with an annual income of 100 thousand U.S. dollars or more stated the same.
