According to a survey conducted in 2023, ** percent of the respondents in New Zealand indicated that protecting or defending in general comes to mind when they see the term national security. In contrast, **** percent of the respondents indicated that threats to the economy such as financial/trade stability comes to mind when they see the term national security.
