In the fiscal year 2022, more than **** million digital life certificates for pensioners were issued in India with the help of biometric Jeevan Pramaan service. The service can be availed by pensioners retired from government services. The service provides life certificates to the responsible pension disbursing agency, following which pension is transferred to the beneficiary's bank account.
