Ahead of Nigeria's 2023 general elections, most of the continuous voter registrations (CVRs), which ended on July 31, 2022, were done in the North-West zone. This referred to slightly over *** million registrations. Other zones in the registration lead were South-South and North-Central. Overall, more than ** million new national voter registrations were recorded during the CVR.
