The survey was conducted among the largest international and Russian hotel operators that operated on the Russian market or planned to enter it.
The respondents were asked about their interest in opening a chain hotel in each city (or a region near it).
The higher the score, the higher was the interest of respondents.
Saint Petersburg, Russia's second largest city, received the highest number of points in a survey of hotel operators on their interest in opening new chain hotels in Russia in November 2021. Moscow, the country's capital, ranked as the second most attractive city for new hotels. It was followed by Sochi, Kazan, and Rostov-on-Don.
