The sample consists of children and adolescents who were diagnosed with ADHD with the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders and were recorded in the Italian Lombardy Attention Deficit Hyperactive Register.

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder common among children and adolescents. In the Italian region of Lombardy, around **** percent of ADHD patients between 2011 and 2021 who were also diagnosed with a learning disorder received pharmacological treatment.
