A global study conducted in the third quarter of 2025 analyzed the main holiday activities experienced by affluent consumers in the past year. According to the survey, staying in a five or more starred hotel and eating in a fine-dining restaurant while on vacation were the most common holiday activities, mentioned by roughly *** out of 10 respondents. In contrast, taking a medium or long-distance luxury train trip ranked as the least common option on the list, with  percent of the sample having done this activity in the past year.
