As of May 2025, the total assets of large business groups in South Korea subject to mandatory disclosure requirements amounted to about ** trillion South Korean won, up from about trillion South Korean won in the previous year. The number of these large business groups and their member companies subject to disclosure requirements has increased in recent years. The disclosure requirements aim, among other things, to make information about large corporations available, thereby strengthening their transparency and sense of responsibility.
