Since 2000, major agriculture and rural development sector projects have been carried out in Ghana. Of these, 49.69 million Units of Account (UA), the highest amount, was committed to the Rural Enterprises Programme III (REP III), approved in December 2012 and completed in March 2022.
Moreover, around 38 million UA have been committed to the Northern Rural Growth Programme, completed in 2018. According to the source, this project, implemented in 32 districts in the Northern region of the country, aimed at addressing the priorities of the Government of Ghana in the pursuit of poverty reduction.
